This is an introduction to a new series spun off from Free_Palestine post #37 (see the motivation there).
It is very hard to realize that Americans have been enslaved by Zionists without providing a framework that represents our values and priorities and how our attitudes shape those values and priorities. So bear with me through the first couple of posts because the context is crucial to know if we are on the same page and if we even care about being enslaved as long as we enjoy our individualistic bubble-version of life.
✴️ The framework
The flow of the series should start by defining who we are, our ambitions, and our perception of how to impact ourselves, our families, and our world (if this even crosses our minds). From those definitions, we should gain an understanding of how people controlling mega decisions may disrupt and disturb those definitions and how we react to that, and how our reactions affect our definitions of who we are… it is a loop, and so on.
Then let’s connect the mega decisions with the ruling class desires of liberal hegemony. Let’s pause here and understand what that means and how it started and where it is headed. We may need to define some ethical boundaries there and try to understand the implications of those boundaries on our individualistic and societal versions of our life. Do ethical boundaries benefit us? Should we be more pragmatic? But what does pragmatism mean here and how does it impact our individualistic and societal versions of our life?
From there, we can delve into the corrupted side of decision making and its impact and implications if we choose to react or not. The implications on our individualistic life and zooming out from there to the implications at the national level.
✴️ The corruption blend leading to US enslavement to Zionism
Let’s define corruption as our target that we need to diminish. There are many kinds of corruption and we need to tackle them as much as we can. We choose to focus on Zionism not only because of current events but also because these case studies demonstrate a blend of corruption with a wealth of references – if only Americans knew – and deep and diverse interactions that can be reflected upon. Zionism exploits existing corruption in the system and amplifies it further. So it is important to identify the corruption inside the system to be able to conduct research fairly.
✴️ What is shared between American values and Zionism?
As states, Israel and the US have no alignment in their set of values: Democracy vs supremacy (ethnostate), equality vs apartheid, secular vs religious, etc. It is perfectly fine to have the two align on specific goals, just like the US aligns with Saudi Arabia or China or other countries, but this can never reach the level of hypocrisy and enslavement of the US administration that makes immorality the default expectation of how we act when Israel is in the picture.
Freeing ourselves starts with defining what we stand for and how we define our impact. Until next time, here are some resources to whet our appetite:
