These are not my words. I realized through past days that there are many voices – although not majority – inside Israel that are calling this madness as war crime
Watch this interview:
Invading Gaza Will Be Israel’s Biggest Ever War
Crime: Haaretz Columnist Gideon Levy
“I really hope someone will stop Israel. If not, I’m really scared we are going to face a horrible catastrophe that we never faced before“
“The biggest secret of Israeli society is living in long standing denial “

Needless to say, the action of Israel has nothing to do with most Jews in the west who are anti-Zionism. In the US there are activists societies such as “Jewish Voice for Peace”

FROM ALBERT EINSTEIN TO NOAM CHOMSKY: FAMOUS JEWS WHO HAVE OPPOSED ISRAEL
Free_Palestine
This post is about questions every free citizen of both countries should ask:
Why the bullying policies of the US and Israel are harmful to both sides? Why have not we learned that bullying does not work? Would Israel dare to do what it’s doing to Palestinians without full support of US? Is this sustainable? Are those politicians claiming the love of US and Israel really doing what is in the best interest for those countries? Do we have a collective wisdom in the population to prevent those politicians from dragging us all into hell?
Are you sincerely looking for answers or blindly following others agenda/media? If you are sincere, do yourself a favor and look into the following for answers:
1. To Israel citizens, in his interview with Israeli TV, Noam Chomsky claimed with logic and sincerity that his stance is in the favor of both. You just need an open mind and heart to listen and reflect
נועם חומסקי בריאיון מיוחד Noam Chomsky
2. To US citizens, listen to the explanation of why Israel is a sacred cow for USA?
Noam Chomsky: Why Israel is a Sacred Cow for America?
Those are short videos and to the point, but I appreciate if someone can summarize the main points and publish them if they cannot be found already through internet.
Question yourself about sincerity after educating yourself. Is your position is always about doing what is right or is there another agenda moving your value system?
Very simple! We – the educated and the professionals – have a moral responsibility of educating our colleagues and network about what I feel could lead to hate crimes in the US, endanger justice reputation, let alone giving our votes to those who spend our tax money igniting war crimes, colonization and occupation of others territories.
By following academic historians instead of getting manipulated by media, we do a favor to humanity and to next generations to help them live in peace. At least they won’t curse us and claim that we are a passive generation. We are better than that! We don’t accept war crimes!
In the resource some example of Jewish historians from elite institutions telling great stories to educate us. Please watch and learn and share.
I have an Egyptian origin so I am a bit ahead of the curve compared with my other fellow US citizens and residents in terms of knowledge about the middle east.
To give a point, I’m summarizing below what prof. Chomsky said about the history of Israel occupation to Egyptian land:
Israel used to occupy Sinai (part of Egypt) as part of their 1967 against Egypt. Egyptian politicians at the time presented peace treaty (around 1971) to get our land back. Guess what! Israel rejected. Guess what else! US backed their decision instead of pushing them towards peace. To repeat, Israeli politicians favor expansion to security.
Guess what Egyptians did! They had no choice but to go to war in 1973 October 6. I wouldn’t have cared if western media called Egyptians terrorists. You have an occupied land, you have dignity, you free it. As simple as that.
With the use of war by Egypt, Israel and US reconsidered and accepted the peace treaty and Egyptians got all their lands back.
You may wonder, has any politician learned the lesson and projected in on Palestine. You have an occupied land in Palestine and no one in power within Israel or the US politics considers to actively work on true achievements of peace. So, I wonder until when this arrogant stance will continue. Do you think those politicians are stupid? No, they are greedy.
But what feeds this greed? And why US spends this money this way?
To understand, I will leave you with couple of extremely important videos/lectures. The first one was an important lecture given by Prof Ilan Pappe 2 days ago at UC Berkeley. He is a well known historian and is from Israel himself. The other resources given by Noam Chomsky. Needless to say, these two gentlemen are both Jewish.

Please learn the history from academics and not through directed media. I hope you have learned some history from the previous post’s resources. I also recommend you watch/read more from Noam Chomsky. He is a truthful legend.
What is the definition of terrorism?
The U.S. Code of Federal Regulations defines terrorism as “the unlawful use of force and violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives”
Let’s uncover a pattern that keeps happening in Palestine.
In his article “Ceasefires in Which Violations Never Cease”, Noam Chomsky laid out the pattern of ceasefire and violations from Israel leading to mass murdering of innocent lives:
“The [ceasefire] agreement calls for an end to military action … as well as an easing of the Israeli siege that has strangled Gaza for many years.
This is, however, just the most recent of a series of ceasefire agreements reached after each of Israel’s periodic escalation of its unremitting assault on Gaza … the terms of these agreements remain essentially the same. The regular pattern is for Israel, then, to disregard whatever agreement is in place, while Hamas observes it—as Israel officially recognized—until a sharp increase in Israeli violence elicits a Hamas response, followed by even fiercer brutality.”
I have watched this pattern over and over. What is more painful is the support of the west politicians to the oppressor over the oppressed. There is a big lobby here, and we need to enlighten ourselves about it.
Chomsky further explains that Israel’s politicians made a decision to prefer expansion to security. “Well, that meant that Israel was dependent for its security and support by the United States. That’s the bargain. If you choose expansion over security, you depend on a powerful state. If the US changes its policy, Israel has difficult choices to make. “
Israel’s most illegal actions are only possible because of US support.
I don’t believe US cares for Israel or vice versa, but this mutual interest made me search for some explanation. I will leave that to another post, but you are all encouraged to do yours.
So, you ask, who is the terrorist? Who is the bully? You answer for yourself.
It is our individual and collective responsibility to increase awareness and to reach a level where we all push for US ending support and military aid to Israel. This is not how I want my tax money being spent.
If you have learned enough please take some action: call you elected representatives and explain your stance to cease fire in Gaza. Call the White House, participate in protests .. etc.
Thank you!

History did not start on October 7, 2023, although some voices wish it is the case.
To my dear colleagues and network who know nothing about what is going on in Palestine and just take their information from directed media propaganda, You cannot simply understand todays events without understanding the history and seeking truth from academic resources. You also need to understand what is going on so you can defend human values and play your role to prevent hate crimes by educating yourself and those you know. It is a moral responsibility on all of us and I feel ashamed that I did not try to promote the knowledge about the suffering of Palestinians until now. I should have started this effort years ago, but better late than never.
I will start gradually write simple posts and add some resources for you to learn about the issue from prestigious US academicians and human rights activists. You can learn about facts and understand how some of your tax money is being used to torture innocent people. You will also learn why US is that supportive of Israel and use their veto power to justify some crimes.
Once you learn and you feel the pain you can take action. I will put some later, but you can start calling the White House, senators … etc and pressure them to work on ceasing fire and alleviating the suffering of people in Palestine.

Noam Chomsky – Among the most cited living authors, Chomsky has written more than 150 books on topics such as linguistics, war, and politics.
In the video below, Noam Chomsky talks with Professor John Haas about UN Security Council Resolution 242 regarding Israel’s annexation and occupation of Palestine. Accuses Israel of starving, harassing and murdering Palestinians while US supports Israel with policy decisions. War crime probes by the International Court of Justice and more.
Chomsky explains how US vetoes of resolutions that oppose their policy, as well as US military aid to Israel, have prevented a diplomatic solution.
Chomsky also critiques Israel’s narrative of being a defensive and reactive force, and suggests ways to protest US policy towards Israel, such as an anti-apartheid struggle and the possibility of an international criminal court war crimes probe into the 2014 assault on Gaza.
