I was researching the academic definition of some terminologies to understand how the media and lobbyists tweak them. Some of those terminologies include Genocide.
As the search goes, I found the United Nations definition (link below)

Let’s start with Genocide. From UN:

“In the present Convention, genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:
* Killing members of the group;
* Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
* Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
“
Now here is the tricky part, we need evidence of the intention: “intent to destroy …”

So, someone knocks your door and kill your whole family and you go to the judge and realize the killer got away saying “I did not have the intention to kill them, I knocked the door to kill another person bothering me”
How does this sound?!

“The intent is the most difficult element to determine.”

Now, let’s talk actions. Let’s take one element at a time and see:

* Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;

The fact that it is up to Israel to shutdown water and electricity from Gaza seems to match this pretty well. According to many academicians they have created the world largest open-air prison. How can you be proud of that and keep funding them?

* Killing members of the group;
* Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
Please tell yourself what is worse than intentionally damaging hospitals and infrastructure?! If you justify this please check your mental health and human values.
Even if criminals are hiding in hospitals, would any sane human accept a collective punishment of patients, kids, babies, women, elders? In what world are we living in to see our US government not using its power to prevent this terror?!
If you just flip the narrative and assume terrorists are hiding in an Israeli hospital, what would you accuse a military that goes and bomb the whole hospital? What values are we instilling in our young generation here?
To all officials who did not speak up, have one atom of humanity in your body!

I can’t wrap my mind about any justification of the US giving Israel from our own money to fund a Genocide and war crimes and we are here shutting up.

We need to educate ourselves. These things are very important for our generation and next ones exactly in same way and more important than our careers.
We are paying our tax money to commit crimes, how can we sleep well at night?!

A tiny bit of humanity and courage to speak up is all what we need!
